
Pan Fried Trout with Truffle, Honey and Soy
A delicious honey and soy recipe with a hint of Italian black summer truffle, a little ginger and a squeeze of lime.

Serves 2
Ingredients:
2 Fillet portions of fresh ChalkStream® trout 130g each
1 tbs of honey
1 tsp of soy
A few shavings of Italian black summer truffles (optional)
Half tsp of ginger paste
A squeeze of lime juice
Half a small cucumber
2 spring onions
A pinch of sesame seeds
2 servings of egg fried rice
Method
Mix the honey, soy, ginger paste, truffle shavings and lime juice and marinade the trout portions before pan frying over a moderate heat to help thicken the sauce and get it nice and sticky. Serve on a bed of egg fried rice with slices of cucumber, chopped spring onions and sprinkling of sesame seeds.
